Apple picking time..

One of my fondest memories of growing up in New England has to be apple picking. Now that I have children it is one that i am so happy to share with them. This past week we went apple picking. I felt so proud watching my boys pick and eat apples right off the trees. I pray that someday my boys will take their kids to do this and remember what a special time i had taking them. Fall Weather..

As September comes in I reflect on all the memories that we have made as a family over the past few years.. I will always cherish taking Omar apple picking for the first time. I hope to grow pumpkins next year in my garden and to watch my boys jump in the leaves.. God is so great and I thank him everyday for giving me the chance to be a mom! Happy Fall!!!

Our new home!

Well it has been a long time since I posted here.. Life has been busy as we have purchased our first home and are slowely but surely getting settled in.. I look forward to making many happy memories here! Thank you all for all your support over these past few months!

Life with two boys is a lot of work!

The first time you hold your baby it is love and first sight but nothing can prepare you for the journey with two! May God give me more patience tommorrow than I had today! :p Thanks to all of you who are my support system! I could not get through the days and nights with out you!

The wonderful world of little ones...

Every day I thank God that he gave me my two boys... However there are some days when I pinch myself and wonder why what exactly it is that I got myself into!!! If it's not one crying it's the other. I thought 3 years apart was good but next time if there is one I will go for 5 years between them!

My Baby turns one tommorrow!

I am totally shocked that it was one year ago that my baby was born.. Tommorrow at 7:46 am Adam Ehab Ibrahim Abutaleb was born! It was amazing to hold my second born and to feel as if my family was complete atleast for now!!! I have charished every moment and love watching my boys grow to love each other more each day! I thank God for my family each day and look forward to watching them as they continue to grow!

Where does time go??

It was 4 years ago tommorrow that my baby Omar was born.. Where does time go? It occured to me that life happends way to fast. In the blink of an eye our children grow from newborns to little independent creatures. Everyday as parents we strive to teach our little ones right from wrong! Sometimes we make mistakes but we learn from them and try harder to be better for tommorrow! Being a mother is such an amazing gift. Since we are children ourselves we dream of the moment when we will hold one of our own and enter the sacredness of motherhood. It was 4 years ago when my dream first came true. I thank God everyday that he has blessed me with not only one handsome son but also another one who is almost 1! Becoming a mother is such a blessing from God and not one that he grants to everyone! Let's try to take each day with our children and remeber how special it is to be a MOM! May God bless all of you and yours!
